One of My Hobbies

Paper Folding

I learned the art of paper folding when  i was in first year high school. At first, i was hesitant to do the project because it involves so much repetitive works. However, as my project piece started to take shape i begin to enjoy what i am doing. As of now, i think i have more than 15 pieces of baskets and swans made of paper. i used a variety of papers like old meralco bills, catalogues or even old bus tickets. Here are some of my pieces.

This one is made of old invitations from our office. actually  you can use any kind of paper as long as it is thick enough to be folded. I advised you to use colorful paper or single colored ones.

This one is made from the catalogue/booklet of SM advantage card (hehe). It is also advised  to coat your finished piece with varnish to hold the pieces together. i have experience in the past that i have to re-assemble all the pieces when it accidentally disengaged because i haven't coated it with varnish yet.

This one is from brochures of Smart communications. I want to post more photos but some of my creations are in my family's residence. These are only the ones i made in my boarding house.
